Following Sam at Junior Nationals
Sam Morkal-Williams, our 15 year old CRCA Junior Development Team member at the current National Championships continues to perform well. Following his 46th placing in the Time Trial, Sam placed 32nd (21st Cat 3) in the Criterium event in a field sprint and 38th (27th Cat 3) in the road race. Well done Sam! Road National Championships
USA Cycling's Road National Championships for Juniors, U23, Elite and Paralympic classes gets underway today June 22. Sam Morkell-Williams is representing CRCA in the Junior 15-16 events, starting with the Time Trial on Thursday. Sam is a promising young rider who rides with the Junior Development squad. He has placed in numerous local and regional races and is currently a category 3 rider. The experience of competing with the best in the country is a great opportunity for him, and we wish him all the best. He will also compete in the road race on the weekend.
